The Long Beach Bay Shore Library Modernization is a redesign project focused on improving accessibility and aesthetics at a waterfront facility. The main goal is to create an ADA-compliant ramp that ensures seamless access for all users while integrating the structure with the site’s natural surroundings and retaining its mid century cosmetics. The project features a detailed layout of ramp options, floor plans, and elevations, offering multiple design solutions based on site-specific needs.
Deliverables include comprehensive floor plans, windows and doors replacement, painting, multiple ramp designs, facade improvement and visualizations that enhance the overall look and feel of the Bay Shore environment. This redesign is a step toward modernizing the area, promoting accessibility, and improving public engagement through a more user-friendly infrastructure.
