An efficient conference space is very vital to any office. Whether to hold big events, discuss important issues, collaborate on a project, meet-up with clients, do various presentations or just your typical staff meeting, the conference rooms is where most of it happens. That’s why when the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) approached MSP to renovate their existing conference room, the design team took it as a challenge to create a space that is not only efficient, but will also showcase state-of-the-art audio-visual amenities– transforming the existing conference room to something the employees can be proud off.
The $2M modernization was intended to provide the district with a venue to host big gatherings, as well as address deficiencies of the existing facility. MSP redesigned the existing conference rooms with an occupant load of 258 to be bigger. The renovated space that was completed in merely four months, now accommodates up to 622 occupants and features multi-configuration conference rooms, movable partitions, multipurpose areas, ample storage and upgrades to the staff areas.
The renovation also included a new lactation room, and a remodeled staff lounge for the employees.
